THE HOTEL
Has been kept entirely original since its completion, in the late 30's,
with the exception of some minor changes in the front downstairs lobby
area to accommodate our new gift shops.

Upon entering, one gets the impression that it has been frozen in time.
The plaster on the walls is completely original, as is all of the
furniture and bathroom fixtures.
THE HOTEL
All hotel furnishings and linens are included. Furniture arrangements
are such that either couples or families can be accommodated. New
bedspreads and window coverings reflect the style of the period.
Laundry facilities, including new machines are located on-site. New
carpeting and fresh paint are among many recent upgrades. A pleasant
upstairs lobby is a quiet place for guests to gather and relax or visit,
as is the new outdoor deck which overlooks the main street, Depot and
yard area of The Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad. A courtesy phone
and high speed and wireless internet connections are provided for guest convenience. There are also additional phone lines
dedicated for fax and credit card machine use, the private residence,
and toll free number. The gift shops are gated for after-hours
security. Although presently owned and operated by the proprietor, the
gift shops could be leased to other vendors.
The large owners quarters is also newly carpeted and painted. While
conveniently located downstairs at the rear of the building, it is gated
for privacy. The kitchen is completely new: cabinets, flooring and all
appliances. Well-planned use of space allows for a private, comfortable
office and ample storage areas throughout the building.
THE HOTEL
Has 8,000 square feet of space. Two guest rooms have an adjoining room,
While other guest rooms accommodate either singles or couples. All guest rooms have a private bath.
Conversion of hotel rooms to a bed and breakfast is a realistic
possibility. The living quarters consist of Kitchen, Dining Room, Living
Room, TV Room, and two bedrooms with a private baths.
